Reseda Group recently concluded its second annual Reseda Summit at the iconic Shinola Hotel in downtown Detroit. The 2024 Reseda Summit drew more than 150 fintech founders, financial institution executives and board members, and credit union leaders from across the country. The event featured live demos from Reseda Group’s dynamic ecosystem of products, companies and partners, including AKUVO, Ascent, BenefisCU, Changed, CU LIFT Fund, CUNextGen, Curql, Debbie, Ever Green by Reseda Group, Foresight Group, Flow, Goalsetter, Larky, M3 Group, Members Mobile, MoneyKit, Nickels, Nymbus, OneClick Financial by Reseda Group, Origence, Pocketnest, Prizeout, Ranqx, RevlTek, Silvur, Strivve, Tandem, TAPP Engine, and Trellance.
“The 2024 Reseda Summit was inspirational! It was amazing to be able to bring a slice of the fintech industry to my hometown of Detroit,” said Ben Maxim, Chief Operating Officer at Reseda Group. “It was a perfect mix of networking and previewing upcoming innovations that will shape the future of finance. We’re thrilled to announce the 2025 Reseda Summit will be returning to the Shinola Hotel in Detroit again on Sept. 17-18."
In addition to networking, learning, and collaborating with the best and brightest fintechs, Reseda Summit attendees also gained insights from keynote speaker Henry Vaage Iversen, Co-founder and CCO of boost.ai.
“Reseda Summit was truly inspiring, with participants eager to make a meaningful impact on the credit union industry,” Iversen said. “I have rarely encountered such a warm and engaging group at any event. The venue was superb, fostering easy social interaction; and the event team was incredibly helpful, making the overall experience fantastic.”
This year’s Reseda Summit closed with an informative “Ask Me Anything” panel discussion with Michigan-based credit union leaders on modernizing service delivery with innovation. The panel of experts included Patty Corkery from the Michigan Credit Union League & Affiliates, Brad Bergmooser from Financial Plus Credit Union, and Heather Luciani from Honor Credit Union.
“This year’s Reseda Summit was a fantastic event, and what stood out to me was how open Michigan-based credit unions are when it comes to sharing insights,” said Dan Daggett, Chief Strategy Officer at Credit Unions First. “There’s a real sense of collaboration here, rather than competition. Nobody can say they don’t have access to the same products, knowledge, or technology because we’re all on the same page. MSUFCU and Reseda Group are very good at making sure that information flows freely for all CUs.”
Reseda Summit will be coming back for its third year in Detroit on Sept. 17-18, 2025. Stay tuned for more details on LinkedIn and visit resedasummit.com for updates.
